Hattersley and Mottram Peoples Association (HAMPA) was set up in 2000 to give tenants and residents a voice in their community. Each member of the group is a volunteer and they help to deal with the different issues that tenants and residents bring to them. They are the eyes and ears of the estate for tenants and residents.
HAMPA are involved with many Peak Valley Groups projects and Groups including the Investement Programme, Housing Management, Resident Involvement, Continuous Improvement, and the Peak Valley Board of Management. A total of three members of HAMPA currently sit of the Peak Valley Board.
Along with other projects, HAMPA also co-ordinate Estate Walkabouts to check that tenants are maintaining their gardens and they also run a tool hire scheme. Click on the link to the left for more details.
